Methodology and sources
A background job reads each source on a fixed schedule and stores only the current figures. This page shows the stored figures and makes no request to a source.
Figures are compared only inside one source and one metric. Packagist, npm and NuGet count different things, so they are never put on one axis or in one ranking.
NuGet downloads and Docker Hub pulls are lifetime totals. They show size, not a trend.
A figure that a source has not updated within its expected time shows the label "not updated recently".
When a figure falls by 90% or more from one read to the next, the previous figure is kept and marked, because such a fall is almost always a fault of the source.

These sources are not used, because their method is not public, their data is not free to reuse, or they are not measurements: TIOBE, PYPL, W3Techs, BuiltWith, Google Trends, deps.dev, scraped pages, data resellers and the Stack Overflow Developer Survey.
