PLATFORM & API STANDARDS - Shipped company-wide shared libraries - HTTP client with factory composition, JWT-enforced request factories and Symfony autowiring, plus shared exception handling - adopted across multiple services.

  • Led AsyncAPI contract-first adoption: pre-commit schema validation, contract tests binding serialization to published schemas, and a written downstream review process.

RELIABILITY & OBSERVABILITY - Hardened a Bounded Context and its data model so a later extraction into a standalone microservice shipped in days, with zero production incidents.

  • Eliminated recurring failure classes: optimistic locking, race conditions, N+1 queries, dead-letter queues, graceful worker shutdown.
  • Metrics, alerting and dashboards cutting time-to-detect.

DELIVERY & AI-ASSISTED ENGINEERING - Queue onboarding cut from a multi-day effort to a single morning; bug-fix lead time from sprints to hours.

  • Introduced AI-assisted development workflows - agent context files, structured command pipelines, PRD/Plan separation, pre-planning analysis - on production codebases.
  • Led and mentored engineers; Epic/Story/Sub-task cadences still in use after handover
